MeadWestvaco Corp. said yesterday that it will close a packaging plant in Grover, N.C., early next year and cut 120 jobs to reduce costs. The plant near Charlotte makes packaging for media products such as DVDs, said Pam Wheeler, a spokeswoman for Henrico County-based MeadWestvaco. The production will be moved to a factory in Jacksonville, Ill., that also makes media packaging.
